Bocawina-mayflower day & Cockscomb Jaguar reserve night tour.

Day 1: Dinner. After dinner, Exciting Night tour start just before dark. And back to the cottage 9 - 9:30pm. Experience the sound of the nocturnal creatures of the jungle as it comes alive at night. You are likely to encounter an armadillo, bats, kinkajou, or paca. But not impossible to encounter any of the 5 wild cat species or Tapir.

Day 2: Breakfast . Start your adventure with easy hike for about 45 minutes through lush and deep rain-forest. To see the colourful birds and learn the different plants and their uses.

Then we gear up for the challenging hike to get to the top of the breath taking views of the rain-forest and see all the way to the Caribbean Sea. After the challenging hike, cool off and swim in the 12 ft depth refreshing waterfall pool.

Jaguar Reserve Night Tour & River Canoeing

Day 2: Breakfast . Jungle River canoe
Tour The river is mostly flat with some current along the way. You will have fun spotting huge iguana and many species of bird, like the 5 species of king fishers, Toucan, Herons and many others.

At some point you may be lucky to see common slider turtle and crocodile. You can also bring your fishing gear, or try hand line fishing to ketch some fresh water fish. Great swimming spots & views.

Whispering Jungle - 2 nights package

Day 1: Have Dinner, then we leave for the Jaguar reserve night tour just before dark. And back at the cottage around 9 – 9:30pm. Doing a night walk gives you a high chance of some kind of wildlife or mammals, like paca, Kinkajou or even one of the wildcat species. But even if you don't see any mammals, the liveliness of the jungle at night is an experience in a life time.

Day 2: Breakfast. We leave for the wild jungle day tour into the Jaguar reserve.

We leave as early between 6:30 to 8am. We do one or two nature trails to try look for the wildlife/mammals, but most of the time the closest we come to one is the foot print. Learn the flora and fauna and the history of the local area, and maybe chance of seeing pecari, Hauler monkeys. To finish, we hike to swim or stand under the refreshing waterfall. Duration, 4 to 5 hours.

Evening Dinner and Maya culture story telling.

Day 3: Breakfast. End of package.

Red Bank/Scarlet Macaw Birding tour (Seasonal)

Hike up hills, for a great scenery of these magnificent scarlet macaw in late December through March. The only part of Belize, easy access to see large numbers of these parrots. Not only that you see these scarlet macaws, but you also see other parrots and many different species of birds. And high chance to see king vulture.

Bird Watching Tour:

Wake up with the birds calls. We leave for Cockscomb, a few of the best places to do bird watching in our region. An estimated 290 species of birds in Cockscomb region.

The Magical Night Walk

Walk in the darkness or moonlight in the jungle. Listen to the liveliness and sound of the jungle and creatures from crickets to Howler monkey , owls, frogs and more. Doing a night walk, you increase the chances of seeing mammals like pacca, kinkajou, or a rear Braids Tapir, or you can be one of lucky person to see one of the wild cat species.

We leave just before dark, and back to the cottage 9 - 9:30pm.

Cockscomb Jaguar Preserve Day Time Trip:

A combination of bird watching, Insect, and plants identification, & local history of the area, nature walk trails. Also a possibility of seeing a kind of mammals. Such as Black Howler monkey, Coati, peccary and others. Can also hike for a swim or stand under the heavy showers of the waterfall.

PRICE: $72.00 per person. Duration, 4 to 5 hours.

Birdwatching & farm Tour

Birdwatching along the citrus farm is one of the best place to see parrot, hummingbirds, Toucan and many more.

After birding, we tour the farm to see our plants, fruit trees. Citrus and the famous cacoa and spicies. Like cinnamon, nutmeg, all spice to name a few. To share with you the importance and the uses of these plants in our Mayan culture.

Only at Tutzil Nah cottages and Tours you can taste these fruits or try a hot cocoa drink.
