Itinerary
We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in the world.
Settle into your cottage and enjoy a hearty dinner.
As dusk falls, we head into the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, world-renowned as the first jaguar reserve.
Experience the jungle after dark on a guided night walk. Listen to the symphony of frogs, insects, and nocturnal birds as you keep watch for wildlife such as the paca, kinkajou, or even a glimpse of one of Belize’s wildcats.
Even if no mammals cross your path, the mystique and energy of the jungle at night is a once-in-a-lifetime encounter.
Return to your cottage around 9:00 pm.
Begin the morning with breakfast before setting off between 6:30–8:00am for a day of exploration inside the Jaguar Reserve.
Trek along one or two of the reserve’s scenic nature trails as your guide interprets the flora, fauna, and history of the area. Watch for footprints and signs of jungle mammals like peccaries, howler monkeys, or even jaguars.
Midway through your hike, arrive at a stunning jungle waterfall, where you can cool off with a refreshing swim or simply stand under the cascading water.
The hike lasts 4–5 hours, combining wildlife tracking, cultural knowledge, and natural beauty.
In the evening, gather for dinner followed by Maya cultural storytelling, where the legends and traditions of Belize come alive under the stars.
Enjoy a final local breakfast at the cottage before departure.
