The Chun family warmly invites you to stay in our family-run cottages and experience the magic of southern Belize. Just 10 miles south of the sandy beaches of Hopkins and only 30 minutes from the world-famous Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary (Jaguar Reserve), our location is the perfect base for both relaxation and exploration.
Our story is rooted in Maya tradition and nature itself. Growing up in the jungles that later became the Jaguar Reserve, the Chun family worked alongside Dr. Alan Rabinowitz and the New York Zoological Society during their groundbreaking jaguar studies. Today, that same deep knowledge of wildlife and the forest is what we share with our guests—whether it’s on a guided night walk, a birdwatching tour, or simply teaching you a few words in Mopan Maya.
