Arrive and settle in before enjoying a delicious dinner. As twilight falls, embark on an exciting guided night tour into the Cockscomb Jaguar Reserve. Experience the rainforest as it awakens after dark—the chorus of nocturnal creatures, rustling in the canopy, and the thrill of spotting wildlife. Keep your eyes open for armadillos, bats, kinkajous, pacas, and, if you’re lucky, even a tapir or one of Belize’s five wild cat species. Return to your cozy Tutzil Nah Cottages around 9:00 pm for a restful night.
After a hearty breakfast, begin your morning with an easy 45-minute hike through lush rainforest trails, learning about the diverse plants, trees, and their traditional uses, while spotting colorful tropical birds along the way.
The adventure continues with a challenging hike that rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views—stretching across the rainforest canopy all the way to the shimmering Caribbean Sea. Cool off after your trek with a refreshing swim in a 12-foot-deep natural waterfall pool, a perfect way to relax after your climb.
That evening, enjoy a traditional Belizean dinner followed by Mayan cultural storytelling, connecting you to the history and spirit of the land.
